Frequently Asked Questions

I've never made a flower before, will I be able to do it?

Absolutely, if you are new to flower making book onto any of our 'budding' classes. We break everything down into step by step instructions and you can ask as many questions as you need to. We've taught hundreds of people over the years and everyone has always left having made a flower. This said, we encourage you to work at a pace that is enjoyable for you so don't ever worry if you don't finish, we'll make sure you have all the instruction you need to carry on after class

What is the difference between 'budding' and 'blooming' workshops?

Budding: No experience required, all abilities welcome! We'll talk you through all the techniques step by step to make these blooms.

Blooming: You'll have attended one or more of our paper flower workshops before. We'll be jumping straight into the making so some basic understanding of the techniques will be necessary

You'll find each workshop is labelled in the product description when booking :)

Are workshops suitable for children? Is there an age limit?

Our classes are designed and paced for adults so you have to be 16+ to attend a class in person or online.

However if you have or know a crafty teenager that would love to learn flower making with you, they are so welcome to join you as an additional person for any of our 'budding' online workshops.

I booked on and now I can't make it....

Can I get a refund? Sorry all of our workshop places are non refundable

Can I swap dates? Yes if there is space on the exact same flower variety on another date we can swap your booking. If the class is full we can put you on a wait list and if a place comes up then we'll let you know.

Can you send me a recording? We want our classes to be safe spaces for people to chat and catch up so we do not record our workshops

How about written instructions? Due to the amount of steps it takes to create a flower it is not feasible for us to write up instructions for each workshop

Can someone else come in my place? For sure, feel free to send someone along in your place to make notes for you or you can gift the whole workshop experience to them. If it's an online class please forward them on the zoom link and joining instructions when they arrive

When will my materials and zoom link arrive for online classes?

Materials: Your workshop materials will arrive at least 3 working days before your class. If you haven't received them by then please contact us and we will get in touch with the courier

Zoom link: Your zoom link and joining instructions will be sent out at least 24 hours before class. If you haven't received it, please check your spam folder, if it's not there get in touch by email and we'll resend it

Can I book onto your online classes from outside of the UK?

'Sorry unfortunately we are not able to do international delivery at this time

I'm a bit nervous about taking a class - what can I expect?

Our classes are super friendly and relaxed. There tends to be a mix of newbies and people who craft with us on the regular. You can chat and interact as much or as little as you are comfortable with, there is zero expectation. What we love about this craft is that you don't have to get everything precise and 'right' to make something beautiful, we'll teach you how to create your own versions of the flowers.  We encourage you to work at your own pace and will repeat instructions and demos as many times as you need us to . If you want to chat anything through before hand that will make you feel more comfortable about attending drop Bee a line
